Service Description

Fascia is known to sense damage, activate cells for the healing cycle, protect with inflammation, attract necessary healing agents for wounds, and report pain. Stress and emotions can affect fascia contraction in addition to direct injury. Integrated with muscles, organs, bones, nerves, vessels on a cellular as well as global basis, this huge sensory organ connecting the body from head to toe is vulnerable to dehydration, inactivity, and trauma which then leads to pain, stiffness and less mobility. Postural concerns are also addressed with this work. Like Targeted Manual Therapy, a few sessions are needed to address acute pain.
