Welcome to CMMT

Rachel is an avid learner and teacher. She has 5 years of experience in Manual Massage after Licensing as a Massage Therapist.

Not satisfied with the initial 850 hours of training, she initiated her specialized training from an osteopathic vantagepoint of body function. She has now added 50 additional professional training classes doubling her formal education along with 1000s of hours of hands-on work to ensure she delivers the best care possible for her clients.

Moving, Feeling, and Living better is a personal standard for Rachel who seeks to create proof in her own life that this work works! Rachel's professional training includes an education master's degree and roots her clients' sessions in principles and practices that effectively deliver better performance standards. Her professional experience in the special education world also prepares her to ease the burdens of learning disabilities, autism spectrum, ADD and ADHD.

My Story

Pain is one of the most direct teachers. Foot and heel pain led Rachel to follow a friend's referral to Osteopathic Manual Therapy, deciding that getting some help was going to be worth the freedom to keep walking and meeting up with this friend. Three sessions later, Rachel was told not to come back: Who knew that the legs had anything to do with the stomach organs, that walking and even crawling rebuilt broken bridges between the brain and healthy movement. But it was true, and Rachel was free of pain even during her 5K walks.

It was a few YEARS before Rachel needed another treatment. This time she learned that stress on the nervous system had a direct relationship with allergies and hemorrhoids. Learning that she was not irreparably broken felt like being zipped back together again. With a few treatments, these issues resolved themselves and helped her avoid previously suggested surgeries. Most of all it made living in her body feel like a safe and hopeful place, again.

With a few simple osteopathic tests, Rachel has now been trained to recognize the source of chronic pain, whether muscle, joint, tissue, nerve or organ-related and address it with manual, medical-science techniques, including:

Targeted Manual Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy
Perrin Lymphatic Massage.

These specializations have been curated by study with seasoned professionals dedicated to helping more people, including Osteopathic doctors from England and France. And she's not finished yet. Rachel grows with each session and takes her questions to class each quarter to find answers for the body's riddles and her clients' needs. Learn for yourself by scheduling now or read on the pages built to answer your questions.
